We have a GLD with Dante card and an FourAudio HD2 controller with dante in our amprack. Now we know that DSnake is compatible with TCP IP networks, dante too. What happens when we connect DSnake to the dante primary port and then on dante secondary to the dante receiver on stage. from that to the DSnake input of the A&H stageboxes. Is it possible to do it this way safe?

    Hi jmibk

You can put dSnake through a managed switch, if you set up the dSnake ports (maximum two) to be in their own VLAN. In the case of the switch on the Dante card, there is no way to set this up, and so no, you cannot connect dSnake into any of the Dante card Ethernet sockets. dSnake uses Ethernet, but does not use IP, and is not compatible with an IP network in the way that Dante is.

    Hope this helps.
