    Hello everyone.

This is my first post in this forum.

I’ve been trying to figure out how to rout the output from the delay FX to 2 different channels, in order to be able to send it back to it self and make a big feedback.

    Running on the iLive T112

    Any sugestions?

I thought this was prevented in the set up, no return can be routed to it’s own send thus preventing a feedback loop, however if you insist you could route it to an output socket then return it on a channel and so feed it back to the FX send again I believe.
Quite why is a whole different world I won’t travel to.[:D]

Are you sure you can’t route FX return to same FX send? I might be wrong, but I remember it was possible and I have done it by mistake sometimes.
If you want to have separate “feedback” control, not permanently link to FX return, maybe you can send the retun to group, unasign that from main mix and send to FX?

    Ill try the group thing:)

The why: doing reggae / dub live with no delay feedback (under control offcourse) just ain’t the same:)

Also i’m not a big fan of babysecure systems.
One would think that we (technicians) were capable enough to decide wether or not to do crazy feedbacks / routings.

All together i like the desk, still getting used to it though :)

    Hi

FX outputs can be patched to a number of channels, buses and physical outputs. See the iLive block diagram here:
    https://www.allen-heath.com/UK/CategoryDocuments/iLive_range_blk.pdf

You can assign the FX output to a couple of Input Channels – select Rack FX and the required unit & output as the source in their preamp screen. Now you can unassign one of these Inputs from the main LR mix and send it to the same FX for feedback.

    Hope this helps,

You can simply send the FX return right back in to the send using the mix.
