Another idea, more “experimental”: 8 effects are too many in most of “small to mid-size” situations; it would be great if in the resource page there was the ability to exchange an fx unit with 1 or 2 output mixes.
Just dreaming? …

yes, but if you don’t want to use all 8 of them, you cannot free some additional resource to add more mix outputs.
But I think it’s a matter of DSP architecture too, so it’s just too “experimental” []
