Hello.
I have some strange problem on last concert. I worked with IDR-32 and notebok (without surface) direct connected by cable (no WiFi)At soundcheck all worked normal, but after 2-3 hours when concert has started, editor constantly hangs and I could not normal work
You can see this problem on video: https://youtu.be/pl-XnxY-FJQ (youtube)
System: Mac Book Pro (Intel iOs 10.7.3)
IDR-32 (last firmware)
iLiveeditor (last version from oficial site)Why it hangs?
Do anyone have some idea about reason of this problem?2012/03/30 at 6:51 pm #30298letmefixParticipantDid you try to change the cable and/or reboot the laptop?
If yes, did it continue with the same problem?IDR32

No I could not reboot laptop and replace cable during concert. I tried to restart editor, problem remained.
May it be because I closed my note book and unplug cable after soundcheck?Stix
I turning off Wi-Fi. I had only ethernet adapter turned on.2012/05/06 at 6:41 pm #30517Paul-WillsParticipantI had the same problem on my first show. I am not sure how far away your router was or the traffic or objects between your mix location and router. I set my router up to only use 5Ghz and my router was 40ft away from me. However there was a lot of people between the router and I. The problem I was having is that 5Ghz does not travel well thru objects where as 2.4Ghz does. On break I lodged into my router settings and change to 2.4Ghz only and the glitchy editor started working correctly with no freezing.

May it be because I closed my note book and unplug cable after soundcheck? That could be possible… if the mac was doing to much during the show it could be that this caused the hangs…
But it looks a bit like network problems…
Does the editor responded to user interaction?SRV-AVB

R-72, iDR-16, xDR-16, Dantemy experience with this has been that if I put the comp to sleep (closing the lid)it has to reconnect upon wake, my guess is the behaviour you describe is perhaps due to multicast, even if you are not connected to a wifi network multicast setting could be freezing your meters…what I saw on the youtube post seems to indicate this…..check your settings and reverse them see if that helps.
