Any settings advice? I can connect using this router, and it runs OK but does not stay connected very well.

    Current settings:
    Router address 192.168.1.254
    Subnet mask 255.255.255.0
Set for DHCP but not NAT
    DHCP license distribution 192.168.1.100-200
    WPA/WPA2 security
    Hidden network
    Radio mode 802.11n only

    Any tips would be appreciated.

What are you connecting with? I have an Airport Express and have no disconnect problems with laptops or iPad.. Perhaps there are other wireless networks around on the same channel?

    Cheers

I’ve been connecting from an iPad 2 to the AirPort Express hard-wired to an iDR-32. My MacBook Pro is also hardwired to the MixRack.

It’s possible the Ethernet cable connecting the AEP to the MixRack is bad. Don’t have a tester nearby but will swap tonight and try again.

    Thank you.

It’s more valid what’s happening in the wireless (RF) part…

After checking connections, cables, reviewing past posts to find an answer, my AirPort Express still drops a connection, even at home with no obstructions, after about 4-5 minutes of use.

Any suggestions as what to do would be greatly appreciated.

    Update.

Reset AirPort Express completely and started over. Not sure how I did it, but reconfiguring it from scratch seems to have solved my issues. Works fine now.
