    Dear All,

As I’m trying to equip as many tours with iLive systems, I would think it would be great
if we could develop some kind of network.
Rental companies with iLive’s in their stock.

I have a couple of international upcoming tours, and they all ask me if I can hook them up with consoles in different parts of the work. When they do one-off shows at festivals and own shows. So if I can find iLive partners in around the world I can rent my iLive’s out to
tours in my part of the world much easier. And hopefully supply the same service the other way around.

As it, for now anyway, still is very few iLive systems vs. PM5 and M7CL at festivals and venues. I think the only way around this would be a good network of iLive users.

    For example,

I have a quote now on a monitor system for a 1000-5000 cap band touring worldwide.
The deal breaker is, if I can sort them out with the same iLive setup on their one-offs.
Miami, Austin, Los Angeles and Chicago.
So I need iLive companies in the US, and I will later on need companies in South America, Australia, to help them with their needs.

I donĀ“t know what happened to the old Allen&Heath rental company page.
Maybe someone from A&H can reply on that…?

I can put a link page together on my homepage, if people send me info.
But, it has to be more or less professional rental companies,
    with proper cases and racking.
Even if it’s good to know where one can find a iLive when you need one.

Maybe there could be two categories?!
One Pro-Touring Rental Companies, and one iLive users.
And a list of each countries distributors.

    For example I have:
    3 x T112
    1 x R72
    2 x xDr-16
    1 x IDR-64
    2 x IDR-48
    1 x IDR-16
    2 x MADI cards
    1 x Dante
    3 x ACE cards
MADI coax multicores, Fibre Multicores, CAT multicores

    Many Thanks And Regards,

    Oscar Soederlund

Ps. I do need to get in touch with iLive Rental companies, for Miami, Austin, Los Angeles and Chicago, ASAP. Ds.

But I mean a plain list of companies in the world.
With contact info and iLive gear list.
    Without looking on forums.

    Best Regards

As i recall, i registered my i live equipment. What if A&H just contacted all registered users with the question if they want to be in the world wide ilive database. If you don’t want to no problem, if you do, you might be ask to suply!

I think what we are talking about here is something very similar to EAW’s “ELAN” which is an international listing of hire companies (who want to be listed) having EAW Line Array’s with the opportunity to list their other equipment.

The listing is run by EAW to avoid abuse but the members deal with each other.

In principal a great idea and probably not that much work on A & H’s part

I had posted this a few times last year.
The user list was removed when the website was redesigned if I remember correctly. Topic “forum layout” back on 11/21 was my most recent suggestion.
I absolutely agree that having a user list creates networking opportunities and will solidify the brand in the entire live sound community. If companies take advantage of the listing service to post other gear, that is just poor design.
On the flip side, most manufacturers are in the business of selling their stuff, not providing a sharing service.
Maybe they can charge a small fee for the listing.

+1 for this. I have enough trouble finding spare surfaces for hire in the UK at times, god knows where I’d start if I was heading abroad for a one off!

Yea, it sounds like a great idea to me. I’m not really a big rental company
or anything, just a small independant.
But I’m happy to help out where I can. If the list is there then it is a good resource
for all sorts of reasons including finding operators in any given region that can drive an ilive.

    Hi. It’s a great idea.
We can create a blog like “facebook or another one” for waiting A&H Network…
    What did you think?

    Peace.

    Hi everyone,
we have been thinking about iLive user’s network for a long time. That will be so convenient! As far as we are concerned, we should try to figure it out together with A&H at this point. If A&H don’t want to participate we will discuss that and deal with it ourselves.

I note that no one from A&H has commented yet. Should we take this as a sign?
