Hi, so its been very quiet on the firmware front latley. there are still outstanding bugs and feature requests….
Does anyone know if A&H are working on v2 software which brings all the networked audio many of us have been dreaming about? One mix rack, dual surfaces, 3 or more mix racks, and many other advanced usability and functionality enhancements.

    Current stock:
    T112, 2x R72, 2x iDR-48, 2x iDR-16

    HI,

If i recall correct version 2.0 would suggest another hardware version.
As in 1.83 , where 1 is the hardware, 8 are the features and 3 are the maintenances.
so we only have 1.9 left with this hardware. Maybe thats why the don’t update as fast as they did before.[:)]

    Yes,
But that would bring us back to hardware version 1 , featureset 1 revison 0
And we are past that a long time ago.
So after version 1.90 you dont go to 1.10 but to 2.00 [:D]
Or A&H have to come up with a different numbering.

    Robert:
All of that for the price of a SD7.. :-)
I dont think they will go that crazy. Something tells me they will go towards the presonus market before they go after the XL8-SD7 market.

I think A&H has best price politics, more options does not mean more money computer stuff gets cheaper every day with more options
so it will be natural to make it in same price or at least little bit more, every body knows that XL8-SD7 is over priced like new year pine tree, also seems to me that industry soon will go for small format and not heavy consoles with more 3d-party control options and editors.
anyway don’t you like the idea? –:)

I imagine future of mixing consoles as one big touchscreen that will ask you on boot what console interface and functions do we use for this show?

Pretty sure that a new firmware is going to be released at NAMM. they always release one around that time.
ILive is consistently getting better features and options, but i bekeave we are not too far from the hardware limitations at this point.
