I must be missing something fundamental here.
When I load a show in editor all my layout is lost.
    Someone, shine a light please.

Have you saved your layout to a scene…?? usually save the first scene as main layout scene so a “save all” scene that remembers everything……….and subsequent scenes with only the changing parameters.

    hope that helps

Thanks Ray I did save the layout as a scene. But it made no difference. The scene is recalled with settings, mutes, levels etc. but the layout and position of my windows is reset. Fxrack windows closed, softkeys window closed etc.
This is making me feel somewhat dense.

If you are talking about the placement of the application’s windows, these are not saved as such and open to a default….Ip/MIX/ DCA/fx

I initially started using Editor with the standard ‘surface’ strip (I think I had it set up like a 144) instead of having to juggle all those open windows, but realised that if you lose connection you also lose your strip layout – now I set up every gig with the custom strips, and just have everything I want (for smaller shows) on a single custom strip… basically what I’m doing now with MixPad! My only wish for this is the ability to save/export these custom strip layouts with scenes (so next time I pull up that band’s layout the custom strip comes up regardless of what else I’ve got saved).
