Is there anyway to make the matrix sends pre processing from the main L+R sends. I dont want the main EQ going to my fill speakers.

    Hey
    You can doit this way:
    1. Create 2 matrix groups – one to main L-R, second to the outfill
    2. Leave the EQ on main L-R and add EQ on matrix only ;)
    Its works great ;)
Bonus: You can record the show from L-R without EQ :)

I would do it that way, but the board processing is all i got for my L+R mains so not really an option. Not really sure why the matrix are post processing to begin with, i cant see that being beneficial in any way really.

just use the Matrix processing for your main outputs instead. If you just think of your main L/R as a subgroup that feeds all other matrix outputs then set up as many matrix’s as you need. I normally have a matrix for mains, front fill, record, delays etc. Don’t put processing on the L/R buss and you can then bury it in a layer as you don’t need to access it.
