Greetings, I have a need for the Editor to be portable — IE, run entirely from removable media, and leaving as little trace of itself as possible after use.

The Java VM can be normally installed.

I could archive the existing folders, “C:Program Files (x86)Allen & Heath” and “C:Users{username}Allen & HeathiLiveEditor V1.70”, then write a script to extract those folders from the archive to the operating drive, and delete them after use.

Is this what I must do? Anyone else have experience with this?

This is on Windows 7 x64.

    Thanks

use a Ubuntu image on a USB stick with Ilive editor installed!
boot the pc from USB, and no traces are left behind!!

    Easy, cheap, quick!
