I really think you should re-fresh the scene editing.
I’m confident that this would boost sales and rentals.

Why is it still not possible to edit, for example:

    In a 25 songs/scene set.
The bass player wants to have more of his instrument in his IEM mix or wedge.
But only in 5 songs in the middle of the set.
And the drummer wants less bass guitar for the whole show.

As far as I know this is still impossible on the iLive.
To me this is becoming a deal breaker, when it comes to my rentals and sales.

I love the iLive, it’s good sound, size, support and ease of use.
    The IPhone app is great!
I did a whole 7000 cap. outdoor show standing in the crowd with only my IPhone.
And the 1.7 has a lot of good new things.

But please, update the scene editing.
Even Yamaha editing is easier to use.
And I have a hard time trying to explain to people why they should use
the iLive instead of Vi6’s, PM5’s, SD8’s, M7CL’s, and LS9, only because of this.
The price, the sound etc. is to this second hand, to the ease of editing in a stressed
IEM mix prod rehearsal or show.

Hope this is something you can look into.

    Still,
Love your work with a very nice console.

    Best Regards

    Hi Oscar

    Thanks for the email.

We’re looking at options for the scene system at the moment.

Getting a better idea of customers needs would help us in the redesign.

If you would be willing, we could discuss your suggestions further ?

If you drop me an email at andrew.bell@allen-heath.com, we could exchange some ideas.

    Thanks

    Thanks Andy,

    Will gladly discuss this.
I will drop you a line soon.

I’m going out on as a monitor man with the iLive t112 on Fever Ray’s
upcoming European tour. And it ends the 12th in the UK I think.
So I’m trying to to catch you guys at Plaza.
Maybe we can talk some there as well.

    Thanks,

    Oscar

There are some interesting suggestions on scene editing in this thread https://www.ilive-digital.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=1187
fwiw, I do like the way scene editing has been implemented in consoles such as the SD8-SD9 and the SC48 …….its a good place to start!

    Thanks
