    We are considering ability to use iLive system in studio environment, but faced with problem of excessive fan noise. In theory, for iDR-32/48/16 racks we can use external iPS10 located in another room, but such option is not available for iDR10 mixrack.

    If we only can have blank PSU option with socket for external PSU, that would solve the problem for iDR10 completely.

    Another field is fixed format iLive surfaces, which does not have ability to connect external PSU. Do we have any other options other than to replace internal fan?

    I had the same thought when considering the IDR-32 for a subtle amplification of a tango ensemble on a stage without curtains. More to balance the instruments then really amplify.

    Wouldn’t you loose the garanty if you open the unit to replace the fan with a low noise variant. Why not ship the IDR-32 immediately with a low noise fan?

    Does the R-72 also have this loud fan?
