    I’ll just post it here:

If you have just installed iLive Editor on Windows, and upon starting it displays error box with title ‘Incorrect Memory Setting’, this means something is wrong with Java SE 6 Update 17 ;) To fix this perform the following:

    1. Uninstall JAVA SE 6 Update 17 via Start>Control Panel>Add/Remove Programe
    2. Download and Install JAVA SE 6 from here: https://java.sun.com/products/archive/
On the page you will find row titled JDK/JRE 6. In the box on the right you should choose the bottom line (“6”) – this is the original J2SE Version 6 – and press “Go”.
    3. That’s All ;)

    Hello All

Yes, we’re aware the latest Java version 6u18 is causing problems with Editor, but we believe 6u17 should be fine.

In any case the best advise at present is to use a slightly older version – 6u15 should be fine, and as airgy says the link above can provide you with a download.

There will be an updated version of 1.54 available shortly to fix this problem.

Also for people trying to use 64bit Windows, and using the 64bit version of Java, we are currently testing an update for this platform, which should also be available soon.

    Cheers

    Hello All

The PC Editor V1.54 Download on the website has been re-packaged with an installer which should now work for both 32 bit and 64 bit Windows.

This also fixes the Java 6u18 issue discussed above.

Any problems, please contact A&H technical support.
