    Hi Doug

If your clocks are different between mixrack, surface & touchscreen, you can reset the time from the Touchscreen Utilty page by pressing setup in the date and time page. When you change the time from the touchscreen the system will reboot, after the system has rebooted all clocks should be synced together again.

It is good prectice to keep Mixrack, Surface & Touchscreen time in sync. This is so the time displayed in the event logs for mixrack, surface & touchscreen remain in sync, this helps A&H support when trying to resolve issues in the event there is a problem with an iLive system

    Best Regards

Its summer time now and got round to updating the time on the desk only to find three seperate times again! In the last 6 months the clocks on the system have varied by 10 minutes. The screen time is x the surface time is x + 10 minutes the rack is x-7 minutes. Is this a common thing and how often do you have check the time on the system?

    Hi Doug,

Yes that’s within spec – which is particularly affected by temperature, so the nearer to room temperature the actual clock crystal is the more accurate the time will be (the advantage a wrist watch has is a fairly constant temperature) so storage temperature and internal running temperature will affect it
The only use of the clocks is for event logs so it’s helpful but not essential to have them synced if you have a technical problem that you need help from A&H with

    Hope that helps

I wonder if you could run an NTP daemon on the touchscreen and use that to update the surface and mixrack clocks automatically.
