Other idea:
As I wrote in my other topic about ethernet connectivity.A PCI or PCIe-ACE card or a PCMCIA version to get our audio into/from the computer/laptop.
Ideally bi-directional.Initially for recording and virtual soundcheck. Later also to incorporate VST plugins in to the signal path? Just dreaming ))

DANTE DANTE DANTE….PLEASE!!!!
and could we please have some user selectable ‘units’ options in preferences somewhere…mainly for the compressor release time…who seriously uses db/sec?!?!? how about msec, like the attack time is?!2010/01/11 at 10:49 pm #25063frozenwafflesParticipantoh and also:
Drivers for a HP L1740 Touch LCD monitor…
and support for meter overveiw page on external screen…2010/01/12 at 3:44 pm #25068woutertParticipantAnd a huuuuge page in the editor that (in a huuuge font) shows the current selected scene nr and name, and the previous and the next scene nr and name that are not empty.
Mainly for live theater use where audio scene changes could be performed using a MIDI pedal board f.i. or scene up/down via foot-pedals. Hands used for light scene changes…ps font and screen size and colors preferably editable…
pS2 DANTE DANTE DANTE….PLEASE!!!!Wouter

Idem for the editor, by the way. (with the option to skip empty scenes please)
We are doing this now, with a pedal to MIDI converter that remembers the last program nr. and thus allows you to have two pedals (or buttons or whatever contact closure): scene up/ scene down.
converter: MIDI Solutions F8

So no excuses, You all at A&H know what i mean….2010/01/13 at 12:31 pm #25073TonmikeParticipantI’d like to feed the Matrix with Single Channels also.
Thanks.
Mike
2010/01/13 at 12:58 pm #25074robcParticipantyou can send an external input to a matrix (patchbay an input source).
If you want to send multiple input channels you would have to use a mix.hope this helps
robc2010/01/13 at 1:33 pm #25075TonmikeParticipantHi Robc,
Thanks for your reply.
But what I mean is a flexible Matrix to feed with the Mastersignal + multiple input channels to create a simple In Earmix for a singer with his voice and the Mastersignal for example.
This is not possible at the moment.
The only way to do what i want, is to create a Group as a Mastermirror and then using an Aux to feed that Aux with the Groupsignal and any input Channel. Why not a flexible Matrix?

PLEASE A&H!
thanks.

BTW, our church bought the iDR48/T118 we had on demo – joy
2010/01/25 at 11:35 am #25100frozenwafflesParticipantok…. so when running two consoles linked with ACE, it would be great that if from the monitors console i could see the inputs on the FOH surface!!! and vica versa please!!!
2010/01/26 at 9:50 am #25102StealthModeratorHi Jeremy
I am afraid it is not possible to view the actual FOH analogue pre amps from a monitor desk using 2 systems connected via ACE only a line level signal sent from the FOH system via Port B. I would suggest that if you have a laptop you could connect Editor to the FOH desk from the monitor position and vice versa. This would allow you to see the whole FOH system’s setup.
Hope this helps
