Can you not set an EQ within your software to tweak the sound going to track?
I know I preach Reaper here a bit, however you can do that within Reaper.
They call it destructive audio however there is a place for everything.

However if you have it from the Powers AT Be that this will be available Later on then FABULOUS
I can wait Yeh! Bring that feature on!
Wow and to think you can save the EQ settings in the desk!
