@Cameronjenner – Digital or not, a drum kit is still hit with sticks. Vibration is a possibility.
If you have access to the console, do a recording to the same drive with no band present. There doesn’t have to be signal to the channels – if the drive is causing the errors then the errors will show up during the recording regardless of signal to the channels. If there are no errors during recording then I think it could have been a vibration-induced issue.
