You can return an FX unit to a channel(s) which gives you the same processing you have on any other input (gate, comp etc…).
What would be good if the hardware allows it would be an option to “decativate” un-needed processing channels as part of the config setup (probably in blocks of 
to allow that processing power to be traded for more mix outs, multiband compressors etc.
Would a longer max delay FX time be do-able? It would be a nice option even if it meant using up two Rack FX slots.
