Hm,
I think the cable is not necessarily defective. 120 m is near the limit, and furthermore – is it a CAT 5 or a CAT 6 cable?
We use a 93 m CAT 6 cable delivered by ‘ADAM HALL’ – manufactured by ‘Sommer Cable’ in Germany – without any problems. And last weekend the cable drum was located between the power distributor and an amp rack.
