Couple of suggestions:
1 -Test the cable for pin to pin continuity if you have a tester (I had one of the supplied A&H Cables have an intermittent single wire connection fault on one end)Fixed it by reterminating.
2 – Roll the cable out. Any cable in a coil near any magnetic field can be a problem.
