yep 1.71 here same thing..must be the firmware
update:
was running a show (grandmothers feat napoleon murphy brok big fun)
had to disconnect the eepc coz it slowed down the console response in general (144) things like leds on channel freezing for 2 secs really not funny – unplugged the computer an it disappeared….
