Thanks Gil. My gain structure is fine. I simply wondered if for a typical say vocal microphone if folks were setting to -10, to the “fake 0VU” , et cetera. As always, I want, as you mention, the best signal to noise ratio I can get, but I certainly do not want to cross absolute zero digitally! Thanks again.
