I’ve been running the Editor on Windows 7 x64 since 1.51. Found and resolved two issues, and it’s been smooth sailing:
1> Window repaints happen much faster if you configure your Editor shortcut to “Disable Desktop Composition.” This turns off the Aero Glass interface for the duration of the Editor session.
2> Don’t install the x64 Java VM. Not only does it run slower in browsers than the x86 version, the Editor just plain won’t run.
