I have a electronic keyboard connected to the mixer via the snake. I can control the volume of the keyboard channel through the mixes and therefore have good quality control through the monitors and the Stream (OBS). However, when using the keyboard channel Fader Strip on the Main I have little to no volume control through the Keyboard Fader Strip and therefore little control over the keyboard volume through the PA system. (There is some volume coming through the PA system, but the Fader Strip has little effect on making any changes.)
Has anyone had a similar issue? Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions on how to remedy this?
Thanks, Dick

If the DCA fader is low you’d see the effect you describe.2024/08/11 at 9:59 pm #124621DickParticipantThanks for the reply. I am not using a DCA so I don’t think that is the cause of the problem.

I am not sure what you are referring to. (The preamp switch is not activated) How would I check whether I have the mix source to post preamp?
In working with the system today I suddenly lost audio through the audio Interface (PreSonus) which means I have lost Streaming capability.
Not sure what is going on. I may have inadvertently set something in the mixer that is causing these issues, but I just can’t figure it out.
I am getting audio through all ports but can only really fully control the sound through the ports that do not go through the Snake. The ports that are connected with the snake have only modest control using the mixer channel faders.

Are you really sure about that?
Tom’s idea was very likely – especially because your problem seems to be expanding.> The preamp switch is not activated
What kind of switch do you mean?> How would I check whether I have the mix source to post preamp?
On page 40 of the manual (see also pic).> Not sure what is going on.
Yes, you don’t seem to be confident in using a console like that yet.
Therefore, I would recommend to save your current show to USB (page 71) and performing a reset (page 58).
If it works as expected, the problem is with your show and you need to find the error or recreate your show after the reset.Attachments:
