    Hi there,

My company is looking into getting a Qu-SB for the use of live mixing and for use in our recording studio. We will in the future want to get a proper digital mixing desk though. What I want to know is if that time the Qu-SB will be useless to us for live sound or if we can use it as a dSnake on the stage to send the inputs to the new mixing desk.

    Thanks
    Caleb

Qu products do not link up digitally, so the SB cannot be used as a digital snake for any other Qu console. I don’t see how the SB would become useless. They should be perfectly fine for smaller corporate and ballroom gigs.

What about the Qu-Pack, would that be able to do it? it will definitely still have plenty of uses, just don’t want to have to buy a snake as well.

No, the QU series are all clock masters, they cannot slave to each other (or anything else)
