I would wish that one can group in pairs input channels (e.g., 11/12 or 15/16) to a stereochannel like with dLive, thus only one single fader must be used.

    Use Ganging? Or a DCA.

However, Ganging still uses two faders and combines any parametres with these. However, only a single physical fader should be used. With it one has on the GLD80 more place for different input channels with stereo-signals.

You can choose which parameters are and aren’t linked in the gang, and you can bury one of the faders on another layer, or even un-assign it from the surface completely (once you’ve set its pan.)

Thanks! This I have already considered. However, it is not so comfortable. 🙁
