Has anyone opened up their QU-16 or 32? Was the hardware difficult to work on?
I need to replace the 1/8″ headphone jack and don’t want to send it in.

    Thanks

    Jim…

If your desk has a 1/8″ phones jack it’s not a Qu. The only 1/8″ jack is the ST3 stereo input.

I’m always careful with that st3 1/8 jack its pretty sturdy but anything can be broken if you try

Buy or make a 1/8” to 1/4” short wired adapter with a 90 degree 1/8” plug and tape it down to the board.

You’re right. I meant to say ST3 input. The cord was pulled (AARG!!!) and the input socket is trashed. I’m entertaining opening up the board to see if I can service it myself. Can’t afford not having the board while it is sent in for repair. Has anyone opened up a QU-16 or 32? Are they easy to navigate inside?

    Thanks again!
