I have been interested in the QU doe a while in my project studio, when reading on the QU it’s mentioned that it will work
fine in a project studio, now the SQ-6 has arrived and there is nothing mentioned that it suited for a project studio, it’s
newer and seems to be an upgrade from the QU serie from my point of view and seems to be worth the extra €500………

Is there any limitation that makes the SQ series less suitable in a project studio than the QU serie?

It should work the same as the QU. I haven’t yet tried it. However, one of the major advantages over the QU is the presence of 96kHz preamps if that is important to you, as well as the ability to utilize DX I/O boxes with full dLive preamps in them.

Art, I agree with what you just said but with a minor correction. I believe you meant to say that the “SQ” has 96Khz preamps, (not QU, 48Khz.)
