    I am also having this problem. I’m running El Capitan on a Macbook Pro and using Ableton as a DAW. A few QU firmwares ago, when this problem first intermittently showed up, updating to the new QU firmware seemed to fix it. Last week this issue came back with a vengeance and it’s much much worse. It happens at least once a minute now. I update to 1.90 and it didn’t change anything.

    So now I’ve changed my graphic card into a AMD/MSI and the brizzle has gone, but now sometimes a channel in cubase peaks after a time. I thougt it is the USB-Driver from A&H, because on my Steinberg MR816 CSX (FW) there is no problem.

    By the way, I have a Intel i7 5930K with 32GB Ram and all energyoptions are out and the system is optimized for audio.

    Just tried this solution on my qu-pac, worked perfectly!
