    i have seen the following sentence:
    “Pad status changes are not compensated by gain tracking”

    would it be possible to grey out the PAD in this case?

    please not, then you can’t lower the level of too hot signals…

    of course, that wouldn’t be so easy.
    but when I think about what could happen if for example a pad is switched off without the gain compensation, then I think that gray out the Pad could be helpful… ; -)
