    Currently still running firmware 1.83 which was from new. Are there any disadvantages of upgrading to 1.94?

    Only be aware that there were some systems, specifically the IDR rack that won’t swallow the upgrade. Seems to only affect the units that came stock with 1.83
    Not sure what a dealer does to get it to take(or if they send it to an A&H center), but we had to send our IDR-32 out to get the 1.91 upgrade to take, then the further update to 1.94 later went just fine.
