At the present time, we are using a QU32 at our church. We have an ME-1 in the video booth about 80’ away for mixing audio for a video recording. It is connected directly to the QU32 with a CAT5 cable.
I am thinking of purchasing a POE hub (which will be mounted in the amp rack backstage) and 6 ME-1’s for our band. The wiring is already in place from the sound booth to the amp rack and from the amp rack to the stage from a Hearback system that we once used.
Question: can I split the signal right out of the back of the QU32, so that I don’t have to run a CAT5 cable from the POE hub back to the video booth? If so, what do I need?
