    It Would be very useful to have automatic BPM detector with selectable source and of course the ability to turn it on and off using soft key.

    I would love to have something like this.
    Even better would it be to generate the tap delay time from the klick track of the band

    Sure thats exactly what i meant by “selectable source” for the detector.
    yet nobody seams to be excited about this feature besides the tow of us!! 🙁

    I would find this useful as well. how it would be implemented would have to be thought through; would we want the selected tap tempo to be automatically slaved to the Detector (possibly quite dangerous), or have a softkey to latch the tempo with one button press (probably safer).

    a related request would be to be able to slave other time related parameters (e.g. a chorus auto-pan speed) to a tap tempo

    In my opinion is this where you are paid for, to dial in the fx at the right tempo at the right volume at the right place.

    I have never missed this option.
